Police sergeant David Stansbury In Court Accused of Rape In The Job

 A cop has shown up in court accused of the assault of a lady while working. Sgt. David Stansbury, 42, of Ilminster, Somerset, showed up at the Bristol Justices' Court accused of three counts, including assaulting a lady in Plymouth.

The court heard the offenses supposedly happened between October 23 and November 30, 2009. Wearing formal attire, Sgt. Stansbury remained to affirm his name and address. He was allowed unrestricted bail and is expected to show up at Bristol Crown Court on May 10.

Sgt. Stansbury is a serving officer with the Hertfordshire Police and has been suspended from duty. He presented with the Devon and Cornwall Police somewhere between 2009 and 2011.
