20 County Commissioners Transferred, 4 Recalled In Major Reshuffle

 Four county commissioners have been reassigned to ministry headquarters, 15 will stay in their existing stations, and 20 have been relocated to new stations as a result of the adjustments. County commissioners have undergone a significant shakeup.

 Under the direction of Interior Cabinet Secretary Prof. Kithure Kindiki in an effort to improve service delivery within the federal government. Four county commissioners have been recalled to the ministry headquarters for redeployment as a result of the modifications.

15 will remain in their existing stations, and 20 have been reassigned to new stations. These changes take effect on March 7, 2023. At the same time, 8 deputy commissioners were relocated to new counties, while 12 deputy commissioners were promoted to the position of county commissioner.

Herman Shambi (Nandi), Mathias Rioba (Trans-Nzoia), Michael Ivuto (Kirinyaga), and Stephen Kihara were the four county commissioners who were recalled (Embu).
