MAN LEAVES ADOPTED BILLIONARE FAMILY, RETURNS TO BIOLOGICAL MILLIONARE FAMILY: "MONEY CAN'T BUY HAPPINES"

A 27-year-old man preferred his birth family's multimillionaires over his adopted billionaires. After a difficult two-decade search, Mei Zhiqiang, known as "the abducted young master," was reunited with his birth parents in June of last year.

The Chinese man claimed he preferred his biological family to his adopted family and stated his desire to lead a straightforward and routine existence. A young man who was kidnapped at the age of two and then adopted by a wealthy family has met up with his original parents after 25 years.

Parents over money

Following his reunification with his original parents, Mei Zhiqiang was referred to on Chinese social media as a "natural-born Fu'erdai," or "wealthy second generation," and "the stolen young master."

In June of last year, the delighted multimillionaire parents were reunited with their 27-year-old son. Mei stated that "money can't buy happiness" when speaking to the Chinese news organization Jiupai News about his decision to prefer his birth family over his adoptive parents.

Two-decade long search

According to South China Morning Post, Mei was kidnapped by human traffickers when he was 28 months old while playing outside his home. Mei Xianhua and Pan Chang'e, his parents, began a two-decade search for their son.

After learning that their infant boy was missing. A happy ending resulted from their buddy Du Xiaohua's assistance in matching Mei's DNA during the hunt.

Feeling out of place

Mei was purchased by a family that later abandoned him because they thought he was "thin and undersized," which allowed the rich family to adopt him. Mei admitted that he did not feel like he was the adopted family's biological child.

Making his experience of living under their roof ambiguous. His birth family used to celebrate his birthday every year, but they were too devastated to cut and eat the cake.

Love of birth parents

In the hopes that their kin might one day find them again, they even purchased a house for him. Mei returned and now works in the hotel sector for the family business, demonstrating the success of their faith.

No matter how wealthy they are, Mei senior added, "their love is different from ours - the love of birth parents." Mei wishes to have a straightforward life in the future because his father intends to pass the family business down to him and teach him at home.
