Jam is one of my yummiest and least difficult breakfast colleagues. We either make it at home or purchase a ready-made container; however, it's a priority in our kitchens. Jam is chiefly a natural product-based gelled puree. It is generally made with a mix of natural products like strawberries, peaches, pineapple, plums, or mango.
Since the organic product puree is overflowed with sugar and water, which activate the gelatin, Gelatin is responsible for giving the jams that gel-like surface. Since it's anything but a free-streaming fluid, it is not difficult to spread on our slices of bread, rotis, and so forth. Jams are produced using a whole natural products, including mash.
Types of Jam:
- Pineapple Jam
- Mixed Fruit Jam
- Strawberry Jam
- Blueberry Jam
- Mango Jam
- 2 cups of chopped fresh fruit (you can use strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, or any other fruit of your choice)
- 1/2 cup of honey
- 1/4 cup of chia seeds
- In a saucepan, combine the chopped fruit and honey.
- Cook over medium heat until the fruit starts to break down and release its juices, stirring occasionally.
- Once the fruit has softened and the mixture has thickened slightly, remove from heat.
- Stir in the chia seeds and let the mixture cool to room temperature.
- Once cooled, transfer the mixture to a jar or container and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
